Classes Policies & Guidelines
All class fees are $25 unless otherwise specified. Beginning Quilting classes are 2-day classes, and are $40 for the both days. If you sign up for a class, and are not able to make the class, we ask that you let us know at least 5 days in advance to have your class fees reimbursed.
We do require a minimum of 5 participants for each class. If there are not at least 5 participants, we will contact you and let you know that the class has been cancelled as soon as possible. At that time, you will be given the choice of picking another class, store credit, or a refund.
We understand that many people carry cell phones today, however, during class, we ask that you turn off your cell phone, or at least put it on "silent" so that it does not disturb the other students. If you need to use your cell phone, please be polite, and step outside to talk so that you do not disturb the class.
We want everyone to enjoy their class experience, and become excellent quilters. There are many things that can disturb or disrupt student's learning. We try to keep the classroom environment comfortable for everyone, and ask that each student practice general politeness and sensitivities. Several of our students, and employees have allergies, so please don't wear strong perfumes, and leave children at home.
We do invite you to pull to the front of the store to unload your machine and sewing supplies. However, if possible, we ask that you park your car out in the parking lot so that we can reserve the front spaces for store customers during the day.
We do our very best to offer an array of classes including the classic, or basic techniques, combined with the latest in quilting excitement. However, we only know what you want, if you tell us, so, if you don't see a class that you are interested in taking, please let us know! We're always open to your suggestions.
